WWII Air Raid Shelter behind the old Balmoral Fire Station

An air raid shelter was built behind the Balmoral Fire Station in Pashen Street, Morningside, Brisbane during WWII. The original air raid shelter still existed in May 2009 when the old fire station was up for sale again. It had operated as a Fire Station from the 1930's until 2005, when it was sold and converted into a two bedroom home.
