Over the years there have been stories told about Japanese military being killed at Jurien Bay, between Perth & Geraldton in Western Australia during WW II. The information always seems to be third or fourth hand, though!

Lindsay Peet advised that he looked at 'Jungle' Jim Davies' book, -The Lady was not a Spy -, The Author, n.p. [Sorrento, WA]*, 1992. The book covers Jurien Bay during WW II. There is no mention of any reference to Japanese being killed there during the war, although Jim mentions a number of Japanese naval activities around Australia, mostly submarine.
