578TH ORDNANCE AMMUNITION COMPANY, US ARMY

The 578 Ordnance Ammunition Company worked at the large Darra Ordnance Ammunition Depot in Brisbane. They also worked at the Renovation Plant located at the Darra Dump.

The October 1943 Brisbane Military Telephone Directory has an entry on page 84 as follows:-
